"Specifically this country dominates the airwaves. In fact the only way that Britain still rule are the airwaves, the cyber waves, the sound waves and there is no real understanding of why there's this giant pool of talent in this country that somehow comes to the fore. And as I said broadcasts itself and our culture and our voice to the rest of the world to play hard, who sleep, eat and drink to our noise. Now why would you destroy that? Why would you invent this notion this mythic notion of a Global Britain when it exists not just in this industry but in all industries. We are the fifth largest economy in the planet."

"How are musicians, and by that I mean, our Voice, Britain's voice, to the world. How will that survive? We do know we're brilliant at this. No one quite understands why. But how will this shallow pool in which we fish for this talent come to the fore when this existential phenomenon of Brexit occurs. How will the 94 billion dollar industry, how will that giant pool of creativity cope with it? The answer is it won't. So stop."

BOB GELDOF WARNS OF ADVERSE EFFECTS OF BREXIT ON MUSIC INDUSTRY
Musician and political activist, Bob Geldof, warned Friday about the impact of a no-deal Brexit on the music industry.
Britain's top musicians have joined forces in writing an open letter addressed to the UK Prime Minister, Theresa May, to warn against leaving the EU.
Geldof said that the music industry will not survive in a post-Brexit Britain and in doing so, harm the economy.
"I accept the referendum vote. I reject the argument and all we're saying is let's do the same as we do on the electoral cycle," he said.
"We change our mind constantly. That's why governments change."
