Zürich - 11.12.16 - Mit dem Fahrplanwechsel fährt der erste reguläre Personenzug von Zürich nach Lugano durch den Gotthard-Basistunnel. Viele Passagiere wollen bei der Jungfernfahrt mit dabei sein. Begleitet werden sie von SBB-CEO Andreas Meyer. Er freut sich über die Inbetriebnahme des Gotthard-Basistunnels. Besonders für den Güterverkehr ist der Tunnel von Bedeutung.
