STORYLINE:

Twelve boys and their football coach from Thailand who were trapped in a partially flooded cave appear on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday to discuss their extraordinary rescue.

The boys told DeGeneres that they never lost hope while trapped for almost three weeks in a cave in northern Thailand.

They said prayer and meditation helped them stay calm.

DeGeneres surprised the Wild Boars team by bringing out one of their favorite players: LA Galaxy's Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The football star praised the boys' bravery and called them "the best team in the world."

The boys and their coach made headlines around the world after they got trapped in a cave on June 23.

They were found by two British divers and brought out in a daring rescue mission that ended on July 10.
